Rules and Etiquette

What We Allow

At SILK LA, we expect all guests to behave with respect to the facility, the hosts, the volunteers as well as other attendees. We want you play safely, consensually and with a risk awareness.

  • Attendees are expected to be playing within their skillset

  • If anyone is unsure of anything, we have several knowledgeable volunteers that can assist you

  • We allow fire, wax, rope, impact, suspensions, messy/sploshing play, edgy, whips (4ft and under)

  • If you aren't sure about something you'd like to engage in, please reach out to us and ask

  • We expect you to sanitize equipment after each use. Supplies are provided at each station along with a trash can

  • Each event has several DMs ((Dungeon Monitors) that are easily identifiable by their orange LED wristbands if you need assistance, they are the ones that can help

  • We do not have a dress code, other than attendees must be street legal until they get inside. You will see everything from nothing at all to High Fetish to jeans and boots.

What is Not Allowed

At SILK LA, we respect that there are a wide variety of fetishes, kinks and behaviors that you may want to engage in.  Some of these styles of play are simply outside of our ability to adequately prepare for in regards to safety, so we have deemed them to be outside of our risk profile as organizers.

  • Uniforms that celebrate war crimes and atrocities

  • Race play

  • Breath play (this includes positional and manual)

  • Gunplay (that includes toys/NERF/ Airsoft)

  • Rainbow play

  • Scat or diapering

  • Vertical fire, watersports, and bloodplay must be discussed in advance

And Remember

Anything less than an enthusiastic YES is a NO.

NO is a complete sentence. Failure to understand this could lead to your removal.

If you are unsure about something, ask us.

We are happy to help.
