Please reach us via email if you cannot find an answer to your question or you have suggestions.
Tickets are non-refundable. That being said, we know that there are times that something happens that we cannot control, so please reach out and we can discuss.
FYI Disputing a ticket sale as a fraudulent purchase will result in your payment method being permanently blocked. Chargebacks without cause will also incur a $50 fee in addition to the ticket price, and a permanent block of your payment method. Just don't do it. Contact us, and we can try and work something out.
On occasion we do have fetish performances, DJs, and Go Go dancers. Every event will have live demos and the ability to engage in "tasters" or small mini demos if you are curious about an activity and wanting an educational experience but are not looking for a "scene".
If you are interested in being a performer, a demo volunteer (top or bottom), etc. please reach out to us via IG.
We do not offer discounts. We do however recognize the barrier to access the ticket price may present and offer volunteer opportunities to make the event more accessible.
Currently all SILK LA events are mask optional. Events held at Threshold do require proof of vaccination.
SILK LA has maintained that its about how you identify yourself, not people's perceptions of you or your presentation. We welcome all Nonbinary, Genderqueer, Genderfluid, Trans, and Masculine persons provided that you do not identify solely as a man/ male. If you identify solely as a man, we request that you respect our space and recognize that this is not intended to be an event for you. If you are still unsure, please reach out.
Your girlfriend is welcome to attend.
Your girlfriend/ submissive is welcome to attend.
That's OK! You don't need to be Leatherfolk to attend. This event is aimed at the broader BDSM, kink and fetish community at large. We recognize that many of the Leather spaces for non-men have disappeared over the recent years, and we want to create a space where we can be ourselves and engage in the activities we care about with people that care about us. This space is engaging and supportive without the harassment and aggressions we often experience in other male dominated and gay spaces.
This is a great question, and one that we feel is really fun for those new to Leather and Kink. The history of the hanky code is a rich one, which can be better explained by someone more eloquent than us here:

And if you want to see what colors may resonate with you and what you may want to "flag" while at an event, you can start looking here:

or here:
There is no real Lost and Found. Because we are utilizing spaces that are not ours, we have to respect that our leftovers are not their issue.
Things that are an obvious biohazard (lingerie, panties, sex toys, etc.) will be discarded. Clothing items such as jackets, shirts and pants will be posted on the community Discord and in the FetLife group so they can be claimed, be will be donated to a local women's shelter after Imperatrix Nox washes them if no one reaches out within a week.
BDSM gear and toys will be posted on the community Discord and in the FetLife group so they can be claimed, but will be discarded/ repurposed if no one reaches out within a week or so.
